96.0 City FM was incorporated as a private company in May 2015 to broadcast mainly in Lusoga and Luganda. We are a registered radio station positioned to fill the audience gap of both rural and urban Lusoga and Luganda speaking listenership within our coverage to address their information needs and economically.
City FM is located in Plot 27 Lubas Road in Jinja. City FM has an executive board which ensures that skill and experience is blended to give listeners the best entertainment, educational, and informative broadcast.
City FM broadcasts on a frequency of 96.0 MHz and has a clear signal covering all the districts of Busoga i.e. Jinja, Kamuli, Buyende, Kaliro, Luuka, Iganga, Namayingo, Mayuge, Bugiri, Namutumba, Budaka. We are also present in Busia, Tororo, Mbale, Bukedea, Manafwa, Pallisa, Serere, Bulwe, Kayunga.
Our programming attracts the 25–50 age group bracket, the most productive rural and urban demographic that is self-conscious and can easily access most of the products advertised in media today.
